🏠 House Rules We love our guests and aim to provide the best experience possible. Please review the following rules carefully before booking: General House Manual 1. This is a first-floor unit with a Smart Lock keypad for self check-in. 2.There is no dedicated parking and no parking allowed directly in front of the house. You must find street parking nearby and carry your luggage from your car to the property. 3. Two parking permits are provided for nearby paid parking. If either permit is lost or removed from the property, a $100 replacement fee per permit applies. 4. The home uses a sensitive septic system. Do not flush toilet paper or any items other than human waste. Use the trash bins provided. Clogging the system can cause serious plumbing issues throughout the house. 5. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Additionally, community quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Manhattan Beach is a peaceful neighborhood with tightly spaced homes—neighbors are very sensitive to noise. 6. No parties or large gatherings are allowed. Only the guests listed on the reservation may enter the property. A $50 fee per unauthorized guest will be charged. 7. No smoking or vaping inside the home or anywhere on the property. Violations will result in a $250–$500 cleaning fee depending on severity. 8. No pets are allowed under any circumstances. 9. Do not send packages, mail, or food deliveries to the property. 10. For safety, there is a Ring doorbell camera at the front door and a NoiseAware privacy-safe sound monitor inside the unit. Additional Policies 11. Only registered guests are allowed. No additional visitors or unapproved guests may enter the property at any time without written host approval. 12. Late checkout is subject to penalty. Guests will be charged $80 per hour for the first 2 hours, and after 2 hours, a full nightly rate (not an additional night) will be charged as a late checkout penalty. 13. If the unit is left excessively dirty, a cleaning fee starting at $250 will apply based on time and supplies needed. 14. Guests must provide a valid, working phone number for communication. Failure to do so may result in a non-refundable cancellation. 15. Guests must notify the host of any issues requiring repair. Guests are expected to allow the host to resolve the issue prior to requesting cancellation or alternative actions. Terms & Conditions 16. Guests must follow all local laws and respect neighbors at all times. 17. No commercial use, illegal activity, or subletting is allowed on the premises. 18. Guests are financially responsible for any damage or breakage caused by themselves or their party. 19. Based on prior reviews, a $600 security deposit hold may be required. This will be released after checkout if no damage or rule violations occur. 20. The owner may refuse entry or terminate the stay without refund if illegal activity, unsafe behavior, or excessive damage is suspected. 21. No events, parties, or meetings may be held at the property without prior written consent. 22. The owner or their representative may enter the property with 24 hours’ notice, or without notice in emergencies. 23. No modifications to the unit may be made without prior written approval from the owner. 24. Guests waive liability for injuries, theft, or damage during the stay. Guests are responsible for securing valuables. 25. Credit card bookings made outside Airbnb may require a photo ID and matching credit card image to prevent fraud.
